A Gathered Clutch for Mother’s Day gift. I made this simple clutch based on this tutorial by Noodlehead. Using this tutorial, you will learn how to make gathered pleats, sewing zip and putting end tabs at the zipper.
But a word of advice, be sure to follow the exact measurement for the zipper tabs. Mine turned out messed up :ops: because I didn’t follow the correct measurement!
IMPORTANT: It is important that the length of the zipper with the tabs on should measure about 8.5″ end to end!
Make sure you try to sew right next to the zipper end tabs and not actually throught them.
Overall… this is a very simple and easy project that you can make. Don’t be afraid of the word zip! It’s kinda easy if you use the zipper foot! 😉
